8193 Dorsey Run Road is the second building to be developed at Annapolis Junction Business Park.  8193 will be a two-story, approximately 123,000 sf Class A office building.  The building is unique in its inherent design components which provide the flexibility to accommodate the requirements of secure or non-secure users.

8193 Dorsey Run Road, delivering in Fall of 2011, is a development project by Konterra Realty and Boston Properties, designed by Powers Brown Architecture and constructed by Harvey-Cleary Builders.  The design team focused on the principles of sustainability and technology to effectively design a premier work environment for the targeted tenant profile. 

Some distinguishing characteristics of the building:

  • Value office design with energy efficient ribbon window system

  • Front and Rear entrances are defined by full-height curtain wall features with stainless steel canopy          

  • The shared lobby features a two-story atrium which is naturally lit by a 360 degree clerestory

  • Column free perimeter allowing for maximum flexibility for furniture and office placement, as well as for exceptional interior vision to the glass line

  • Minimum 9’ ceiling height in tenant spaces
